Leslie-Ann Paige, MSW

Leslie-Ann is Hul’q’umi’num’ from Quw’utsun and Spune’luxutth. With a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto, and ten years of leadership experience within the social services sector, Leslie-Ann’s work has been to advance systemic change that is grounded in Indigenous values and legal principles.

This includes strategic direction, operational transformation and program development within complex systems, including those at the intersection of social justice and systems of oppression. Areas of specialization include:

  • Integrating Indigenous worldviews and legal orders into direct practice including delegated and clinical services

  • Systems change including the strategic and executive functions that align governance, policy, and operations with Indigenous laws, teachings, and principles of practice, while strengthening measurable impact.

  • Advancing Indigenous-led healing modalities within both clinical and community-based contexts. ensuring practice is relational, culturally grounded, and trauma-informed.

Leslie-Ann’s work is rooted not only in professional training and leadership experience, but in the lived experiences of her family and community. This includes the vision and lived impact of her late father, Felix Paige Jr. As a mother, rebuilding family and community is deeply meaningful in continuing the healing work of our ancestors.
